Kind of. It was originally produced by the Rootes Group as the Commer FC. Rootes were bought by Chrysler and subsequently the Chrysler-owned Dodge name was used to tie in with the Dodge trucks that they also made.

I’ve heard of the Commer...were the a Dodge variants sold in North America? I’ve never heard of or seen them at all!

I’d be surprised if they ever crossed the Atlantic. In its later years the FC’s main customer was British Telecom and it was kept in production until 1983 (by which time it was hopelessly obsolete) because they bought so many of them.
Here’s a Dodge truck. They were sold under many names and the business was eventually bought by Renault who went on to sell their truck business to Volvo. Volvo thereby acquired Mack truck, previously bought by Renault.

Shit be complimented yo!
In seriousness, definitely an interesting history, and an odd story of globalization. :)
